Corn and soybeans restore their gains at the close | October 26, 2022

Corn ended the day down a penny while soybeans rose just a penny.

Wheat was more successful in holding on to some of the day’s gains. CBOT Wheat closed up 7¢. KC wheat is up 8¢. Minneapolis wheat is almost flat.

Live cattle are up 28¢. Feeder cattle increased 90¢. Lean pigs are up 5¢.

No change in the US Dollar Index since noon.

The S&P 500 is down 21 points. The Dow is up 23 points.

Price up noon: 10:47 a.m.

Soybeans are down slightly from this morning, but still up 10¢ overall.

Corn is up a penny.

CBOT wheat is up 9¢. KC wheat is up 8¢. Minneapolis wheat is up 4¢.

The US Dollar Index is down to 109.6, further supporting higher commodity prices.

Live cattle are flat. Feeder cattle increased 63¢. Lean Hogs are up $1.10.

Soybeans up 12¢ this morning: 9:22 a.m.

This morning the corn is quietly down a penny. Soybeans are up 12¢ at $14.04.

CBOT wheat is down 2¢. KC wheat is down 5¢. Minneapolis wheat is down 4¢.

The US dollar index is down to 110.1. Naomi Blohm of Total Farm Marketing says this is supporting prices.

Live cattle are down 10¢. Feeder cattle lost 5¢. Lean pigs are also down 5¢.

The S&P 500 is down 33 points. The Dow is down 8 points.
